GRIMES, Nannie Dixon Gott - Putnam

Mrs. Nannie Grimes, who came a few days since to stay with Mr. & Mrs. Charles Heinen died of pneumonia Sunday morning. Funeral services at the Machledt home on Tuesday a.m. were in charge of Rev. Cecil Franklin. Burial in Russellville Cemetery. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Vester Dixon and was born December 1864. She first married Preston Gott of Russellville and later Eli Grimes. She is survived by a son, Dr. Charles Gott who is at present mayor of Portland. She was a member of the Parke Christian Church. A niece, Miss Gwendolyn Dixon from Indiana came for the funeral. Palbearers were: Robert Miller; Albert Pitcock; Jesse Barrington; Dan Wiltermood; Frank Hester and Charles Heinen.   --- typed by kbz
